TTE 350: Multimedia Authoring & Interactive Design
he purpose of this course is to prepare you to teach basic communications technology, multimedia authoring, and interactive design in the public schools. The authoring tools will be Macromedia Flash MX, a game programming application, and a web design application. Throughout the course you will learn to design, develop, and debug Flash MX animations. You will learn the basics of interactive design and layout, project management skills and be able to apply these skills to a personal electronic portfolio. The first half of the semester will be devoted to developing basic skills in Flash and starting your portfolio. The second half will help you develop advanced flash skills, teaching skills, and push you to apply them to your portfolio or a large project of your choice. The Utah multimedia state standards will be used as a guide for the content and curriculum for this course. .
